Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa is one of Cyprus’ most anticipated openings for 2019, but this beautifully designed resort isn’t only for adults…
While grown up guests are free to indulge in facilities including an ultra-modern spa and adults-only swimming pool, children are spoilt for things to do at the world-class Park Kidz club. Speaking to Elegant Resorts, Park Kidz Club Manager, Ivana Jovanovic, shares more about what young guests can expect from Cyprus’ newest luxury resort upon its opening in 2019.
How does Park Kidz differ from other children’s clubs at luxury hotels and resorts?
First and foremost, it differs in its size and facilities. We have a lot of green space with natural shade, as well as wonderful playground, a pirate ship waterslide and activity pool – perfect for cooling off!
Then, it’s all about how we work. We believe in freedom of choice rather than a set timetable; we aim to encourage rather than to teach. We are friends who are there to make kids’ holiday unforgettable with a number of activities to satisfy their curiosity, all whilst ensuring a safe and happy environment.
You have built an incredible two-storey castle in your 3,000-square-metre children’s club. What can imaginative youngsters expect to find inside?
Our little guests can find everything and anything inside! There are lots of ‘old school’ games to play and new friends to be made. They can expect lots of smiles, imagination, music and movement. We like to think of our castle as a place to create your own magical fairy tale.
There is also a children’s restaurant for a fun-filled dining experience. What’s on the menu?
Our dedicated chefs make sure our young guests have plenty to choose from. There’s everything from the usual child-friendly options, including delicious pizza, to some more elaborate meals to satisfy their taste buds!
Have you created a space to keep teenagers busy?
Our Park Sports will make sure teens are always kept busy. It provides them with a separate area with lots of activities to try, including football, basketball and table tennis.
You also have a seasonal football academy during the year, working with footballers including Rio Ferdinand and Bobby Zamora. What skills can young sports fanatics expect to learn?
Young footballers will have the opportunity to learn basic skills from some of the biggest names in football! During the five-day course, they will learn movement skills, ball control and drills. Everyone who takes part will receive a full kit, medal and certificate upon completion – a fabulous way to remember a wonderful holiday at Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa.
What can parents expect to get up to whilst their little ones enjoy Park Kidz?
While the kids are in the capable hands of our well-trained staff, parents can make the most of what the resort has to offer. The Kalloni Spa lets you indulge in luxurious therapies whilst the five dining venues are wonderful for a romantic lunch or dinner.
