Exciting new dining concepts – led by renowned chefs including Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse and Anne-Sophie Pic – alongside signature highlights such as North Indian cuisine at Tiffin Room and the traditional English Afternoon Tea, allow you to relish unbelievable food throughout, alongside one very famous cocktail.

The Singapore Sling – widely regarded as the national drink – was first created in 1915 by Raffles bartender Ngiam Tong Boon. Primarily gin-based, the Singapore Sling also contains pineapple juice, lime juice, curaçao and Bénédictine, while its pretty pink hue comes from adding grenadine and cherry liqueur.

The historic Long Bar – the original home of the Singapore Sling – returns fully restored. The famous counter shines like new amidst décor that marries architecture and contemporary plantation-inspired motifs. The earthy décor of the two-storey Long Bar is inspired by Malayan life in the 1920s. In keeping with the relaxed atmosphere, guests are invited to brush peanut shells off the table and bar counter to the floor – a longstanding tradition experienced by travellers from around the world.

Drawing inspiration from local culture and tradition, while celebrating the institution of Raffles Hotel Singapore itself, there is nowhere better for an authentic taste of luxury in Singapore.
